Chase's Laura Getz joins northern loan committee of Indiana Statewide CDC small-business lender
Laura Getz, Business Banking Area Manager at Chase in Fort Wayne, has been named to the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation Northern Loan Committee.

Indiana Statewide CDC (ISCDC) works with local Indiana lenders to issue loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan program to help owners of expanding or startup small businesses buy real estate, buildings and equipment. SBA 504 loans help small companies gain favorable financing terms similar to those available to large companies in conventional loans.

The six other members of the ISCDC Northern Loan Committee include: Joe Cavacini, First Federal Savings Bank, Fort Wayne; Jeff Dysert, STAR Financial Bank, Fort Wayne; Carrie Kosac, 1st Source Bank, South Bend; John Lowenstine, John Lowenstine CPA, Merrillville; Daryl Pomranke, First Merchants Bank, Munster; Alan Steele, North Central Indiana Small Business Development Corp., South Bend.

ISCDC's three loan committees cover northern, central and southern Indiana. Jean Wojtowicz, executive director of Indiana Statewide CDC, says, "Our three loan committees extend our reach into large and small communities across the state. The loan committee members are our 'eyes and ears' helping local companies modernize, expand and create jobs."

Laura Getz is also on the board for Northern Indiana Rick Management Association and on the finance committee for the Allen County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Background:

Indiana Statewide CDC has provided more than $520 million to 1,240 Indiana companies since 1983, creating or saving 26,595 jobs, and is the most prolific CDC in Indiana. Nationally, since Congress created the 504 program, SBA 504 loans have funded over $67 billion to more than 135,000 small businesses in the U.S. In turn, those small firms have created or retained over 2.1 million jobs.
